History

Wat Narai Nikayaram houses an image of Vishnu and a replica image of Lakshmana; the original is at the National Museum in Thalang District, Phuket. It also houses an original image of Sita. A stone inscription dating from 1,300–1,400 years ago has also been found at the temple.
