Ko Khai

History
Ko Khai is in Phru Nai Subdistrict, southwest of Ko Yao Yai. It comprises three small privately owned islands: Ko Khai Nai, Ko Khai Nui and Ko Khai Nok. The name “Ko Khai” (Egg Island) refers to the small islands’ resemblance to fried eggs in the sea. They lie between Ko Si Re (Phuket Island) and Ko Yao Yai in Phang Nga. The Thai page describes the islands as a destination for visitors from Phuket, with clear water, beautiful coral and a convenient, safe journey that takes about 15 minutes.
