Khao Lak Coast

History
The Khao Lak coast is a continuous stretch of beach extending for several kilometres from the southern part of Ban Nam Khem toward Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park. Casuarina and coconut trees shade the shoreline, and rocks of various sizes are scattered along it. Visitors can swim, and several spots are suitable for water sports such as surfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Khao Lak is known as Thailand’s “Surf Town.”
