History

Kathu Heritage Conservation Center is at Ban Kathu School, 7 kilometres from town. Follow Wichit Songkhram Road to Wat Ket Ho junction, turn right and continue toward Kathu community. The center collects various mineral ores and glittering rock specimens, models of old mining, mining equipment and everyday objects that reflect the community’s way of life.
