History

Karon Viewpoint, beside Highway 4030, is one of Phuket’s scenic viewpoints. Its crescent-shaped coastline brings three beaches into view: Kata Noi, farthest from the viewpoint, followed by Kata and Karon. These three bays give the viewpoint its Thai name, “Three Bays Viewpoint.”
