Wat Traimit Withayaram

History
Phra Phuttha Thotsaphonnyan, the principal image in the ordination hall, is described as a stucco Buddha in the subduing-Mara posture, lacquered and gilded. People commonly call it Luang Pho To or Luang Pho Wat Sam Chin, and the source says worshippers often make vows with jasmine garlands. It also recounts that King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) visited and praised the image. Former abbot Luang Pho Mo once made metal amulets depicting the image, known as Luang Pho To of Wat Sam Chin; the source says they were widely regarded as sacred and have become rare.
