Wat Suan Pan

History
Wat Suan Pan is near the clock-tower intersection on Si Thammasok Road. Inside the ordination hall are murals depicting King Rama V staying at the temple on his return from Indonesia in B.E. 2441 (1898), as well as murals of the Buddha’s life. The latter were painted by Naep Thichinphong, an artist recognised for his work in Nakhon Si Thammarat, and completed in B.E. 2525 (1982). Visitors who wish to see them should contact the temple to have the doors opened.
