History

Wat Pho Bang O is on Bang Kruai–Sai Noi Road in Wat Chalo Subdistrict; visitors arriving by water walk about 200 metres from the pier. The old Ayutthaya-period temple was restored during Rama III’s reign by Krom Luang Seni Borirak, son of the Prince of the Rear Palace and an ancestor of the Seniwong family.
