Wat Khao Bandai It
History
Wat Khao Bandai It is reached via Highway 4 and a right turn onto Highway 3171, about 2 km from Khao Wang. The small hill has a summit 121 m high. The temple was built during the Ayutthaya period and is a well-known vipassana meditation center. The source says King Suea once came to become a disciple of the temple. It also says the temple was known for sacred arts when Luang Pho Daeng, a respected monk from Phetchaburi, served as abbot, drawing many visitors who came to pay their respects.
