History
Wat Chulamani stands on the east bank of the Nan River, about 5 kilometres south of Phitsanulok city along Borom Trailokkanat Road. The ancient site predates the Sukhothai period and was once the location of old Song Khwae. Historical accounts say King Borommatrailokkanat built a viharn and ordained here in B.E. 2007 (1464).
