Wat Chedi Thong

History
Wat Chedi Thong is outside Phitsanulok’s city wall on Phaya Suea Road, along the same route as Wat Aranyik. The site retains the only lotus-bud-shaped chedi in the Sukhothai style found in Phitsanulok. Its base is about 9 metres wide and the chedi is 21 metres high. Chipped plaster near the lotus-bud top reveals that additional plaster was applied to build up the pointed tip.
