Wat Bang Nom Kho

History
Wat Bang Nom Kho was built in the late Ayutthaya period and was formerly called Wat Nom Kho. The name is linked to the area’s many cattle-raising households. During a war with Burma, Burmese forces camped in Si Kuk Subdistrict near the temple and seized cattle from villagers in Bang Nom Kho to supply their army.
