The Old City Park

History
This is the site of the old city of Phichit, established during the reign of Phraya Khotrabong around B.E. 1601. Within the city walls, the area covers about 640,000 square meters and contains ruins such as walls, a moat, and old stupas. The Kanchana Kumarn Arboretum, established by the Royal Forest Department in B.E. 2520, adds shade from many kinds of trees and makes the park a place to relax.
