The park was formerly called Pa Kha, referring to Luang Pa Kha or San Klang Mae Wang Chang. It is in Ban Pa Kha, Village 6, Ban Kaeng Subdistrict, and was established in accordance with the wishes of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
