History
Chanthaboon Waterfront Community is in Chanthaburi. This riverside community is more than 300 years old and was once an important trading centre in the eastern region. River transport brought people of different backgrounds, including Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese residents, whose cultures blended into a distinctive local identity. Today, the community is preserved and developed as a cultural destination, with historic homes, colonial architecture and an active community life.
