Wat Pa Ban Tat

History
Wat Pa Ban Tat is in Ban Tat Subdistrict, Udon Thani. Villagers donated land for the temple, which Luangta Maha Bua (Phra Dhammawisuddhimongkol, Bua Ñāṇasampanno) founded in November 1955. On 17 September 1970, the Ministry of Education recognized it as a Buddhist temple and named it Wat Kesorasilakhun. The source describes it as a simple, peaceful meditation place and a sanctuary for animals including junglefowl, squirrels, treeshrews, rabbits, turtles, lizards and birds.
