Phu Pha Thoep National Park

History
The park is in Na Si Nuan Subdistrict and covers 48.4 square kilometres across Mueang Mukdahan and Don Tan districts. Its sandstone terrain includes a series of low, rolling mountains, steep cliffs and broad rock platforms. It forms the southern end of the Phu Phan range. The highest peak is Phu Chom Si, and the source gives an elevation range of about 170–420 metres above mean sea level. Most of the forest is dry dipterocarp and mixed deciduous. Wildflowers cover the rock platforms near the end of the rainy season and start of the cool season. The source states that Phu Pha Thoep received a Thailand Tourism Outstanding Award in 2025 in the natural attractions category.
