Phra Phutthasihing Hall

History
The Phra Phutthasihing Buddha image is housed in a hall near Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Hall. Legend says a king of Lanka commissioned it in B.E. 700 and that it came to Thailand during King Ramkhamhaeng’s time. The hall has two sections: the front houses the Phra Phutthasihing and silver and gold Phra Lak images; the rear holds the remains of the Na Nakhon family.
