Mae Ngud Somboon Chon Dam
History
The dam is under the responsibility of Sri Lanna National Park. The Royal Irrigation Department began building it in B.E. 2520 (1977) and completed it in B.E. 2528 (1985). It is at kilometre 41 on the Chiang Mai–Fang Road (Highway 107); turn right and continue about 11 kilometres. The dam is in Mae Taeng District. The source says accommodation and restaurants are available on raft houses for visitors; see the accommodation section for details.
