History

This newly opened national park is in Ban Nong Luang, Village No. 3, Sam Muen Subdistrict, beside the Mae Ramad–Ban Tak Highway. It is about 18 kilometres from the Mae Ramad District intersection and covers about 380 square kilometres. Formerly called Mae Kasa National Park, it was later renamed Khun Phawo National Park.
