Buatong Waterfall and Jedsee Fountain Forest Park

History

The forest park is near kilometre marker 42 on the Chiang Mai–Phrao route, in Ho Phra Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District. A mineral spring containing calcium carbonate rises from the ground and flows into a stream and small waterfall. The ground beneath the stream is described as hard, white and sparkling due to a calcium-carbonate coating.
