Ban Rai Temple (Wat Ban Rai)
History
Ban Rai Temple is one of the province’s best-known temples and the residence of the revered monk Luang Pho Khun Parisuttho. Worshippers from across the country come to pay their respects each day. The temple is in Kut Phiman Subdistrict, about 60 kilometres from the city. To get there, take Mittraphap Highway to the 237-kilometre marker, turn right past Kham Thale So and Nong Suang toward Dan Khun Thot. From Dan Khun Thot Hospital, continue on Highway 2217 for 11 kilometres.
