History

The viewpoint is near the Lam Nam Kraburi National Park office. It offers broad views of the Kraburi River, which forms part of the Thailand–Myanmar border. Islands visible in the river include Ko Khwang, Ko Yao, Ko Pling, Ko Chon, Ko Siat, and Ko Nok Plao. The area also overlooks mangrove forest described as among Thailand’s most intact. It is a place to watch the sunset and visitors can camp overnight.
