“Trading without guessing” does not mean producing a 100% correct forecast or knowing where price will go. Markets are uncertain. The idea is to replace an improvised prediction with a process that describes what you will do under different conditions and how much you can risk.
Separate the decision from the outcome
A single winning trade does not prove that the decision was sound, and a loss does not by itself prove that a plan was bad. Record the information available, the rule used, the risk accepted and whether the plan was followed. Review a series of decisions rather than judging a method from one outcome.
Plan scenarios and risk before entering
Write down conditions that would support or invalidate an idea, the amount at risk and the point at which you will exit. Recognize time pressure, confirmation bias, fear and greed as factors that can distort judgment. If there is no clear setup or the risk is outside your limits, not trading is an option.
Test a system and keep expectations realistic
Use historical analysis or a practice environment to understand how a system behaves, while remembering that past results do not guarantee future performance. Consider costs, slippage and changing market conditions. Choose tools that fit your knowledge and keep records long enough to evaluate the method across different situations.
No process removes risk or ensures profit. Trading can result in loss of capital. This is general education, not individualized investment advice.
