Campaign dates
This page describes a specific Thaivivat campaign, not a general tax deduction for car-insurance premiums. The insurer’s published enrollment period ran from 1 October 2024 through 30 September 2026, so registration has closed. Tax treatment depends on the donation record and the taxpayer’s eligibility under Revenue Department rules.
The campaign linked safe driving with charitable giving. For qualifying policies, the insurer said it would donate part of the net premium to a participating organization in the policyholder’s name. The tax benefit was tied to the donation—not to treating the full motor-insurance premium as a tax deduction.
How the Caring Forward campaign worked
According to Thaivivat’s published terms, an eligible policyholder could register through the company’s app, choose a participating organization and keep the policy free of an at-fault claim during its coverage period. The insurer would then make a donation in the policyholder’s name.
The published amount was 5% of the net motor-insurance premium, excluding taxes and duties, capped at 10,000 baht per policy. The insurer listed eligible private, individual Type 1 motor policies and specified products; not every policy qualified.
Who and which policies qualified
The insurer’s terms limited the offer to an individual policyholder with an eligible private Type 1 policy issued by Thaivivat. The listed policy had to be an annual motor policy or a qualifying 12-month-or-longer pay-as-you-drive product. The registered vehicle also had to have no at-fault claim during the coverage period. The campaign terms and eligible product list should be checked on the insurer’s own page.
What the tax benefit meant
Thaivivat said the policyholder could receive evidence of the donation to support a personal-income-tax deduction under Revenue Department rules. The insurer’s page described a deduction of up to two times the donation amount, subject to those rules. That is not the same as deducting the insurance premium itself, and it is not an automatic tax saving for every taxpayer.
The company said it would provide donation evidence within 120 days after the policy coverage ended and directed donors to the Revenue Department’s e-Donation service to check the record. Keep the insurer’s terms and any donation evidence, then confirm current filing rules with the Revenue Department or a qualified tax professional.
Organizations listed by the campaign
The campaign page listed six choices. The names below are English renderings of the Thai names on that page; use the insurer’s original list to confirm the organization and current eligibility:
- Thai Red Cross Society emergency disaster-relief fund.
- Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen.
- Chalerm Phrakiat Building Fund, Children’s Hospital Foundation.
- Yuvabadhana Foundation.
- Mirror Foundation.
- The Voice Foundation (Voice for Animals).
Current status and what to check
The published registration deadline was 30 September 2026. A later tax period listed on the campaign page does not reopen enrollment. If you registered earlier, check your policy’s end date, the insurer’s donation record and the relevant Revenue Department rules. For a new policy or a future campaign, confirm the offer directly with the insurer before buying.
Frequently asked questions
Can I deduct my car-insurance premium under this campaign?

Can I register now?
No. The insurer’s published campaign page lists 30 September 2026 as the end of the enrollment period.
Does every policy qualify?
No. The published terms specify eligible private Type 1 policies, qualifying products, an individual policyholder, and no at-fault claim during coverage. Check the official terms for details.
